I liked the structure of the playset I drew for an earlier piece so I tried a different angle for it and played around a bit with the composition. Pleased how it ended up! :)

The background turned out great! Usually the colors are in blinding primaries, but the structure came out spot on!! It has a very nice, casual feel to it.

Thank you. Yes, I agree this one's a little bit more polished. :)

The composition and color looks great, but I wish you could have given the playground just a liiiiiiiitle bit more attention with the line thicknesses and shadows like you did with the guys (the ones in the foreground are fine).

Getting better and better with your perspectives and bgs :3

I really wanted the characters to pop out so I gave them hard blacks and whites. It's not "realistic" per se, but it was intentional. (and based off of Murata's use of hard blacks in his images) I agree it's somewhat jarring though and sure I could have spent more hours on the BG, but I think I aimed for an overall feel and came away with something that worked for me.

Nah~ wasn't shooting for realism, just wanting it to be more wholistic with the OCs and bg, that's all.
